Continued cold, then snow

Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Continued cold, then snow

(January 2, 2018) – Dangerous wind chills will impact our area again tonight.

During the day Wednesday, an accumulating snow can impact counties along the Indiana-Michigan state line. Generally, 1-3” can be expected, with little to no accumulations south of U.S. 6. Even a small accumulation of snow can lead to slick and snow covered roads.

Then, Wednesday night, lake effect snow will develop and persist into Friday. If you must travel in the impacted regions, be prepared for whiteout conditions and slippery roads.
