Today’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Flooding rainfall likely
Flood Watch remains in effect
Ends Saturday, May 6th, 2017 at 8 p.m. EDT

Forecast points:

  • Rain persists into Friday – Flood Watch in effect.
  • Several River Flood Warnings issued with a least moderate river flood levels expected
  • Lowland, streams/creeks and river flooding
  • Monitor AHPS page

(May 4, 2017) – Rain, moderate to heavy at times, will persist into Friday. As the ground is well saturated, much of the rainfall will produce runoff and flood lowland areas, streams/creeks and area rivers. Significant flooding is expected in the Wabash and Maumee River Basins late this week and into the weekend.
