Tonight’s weather story from the National Weather Service:

Dry weather continues this weekend
Next chance of rain on Monday

(April 7, 2017) – High pressure pushes through the region overnight continuing our dry weather and turning winds to the southwest. With dry weather back in the region, our area rivers will continue to recede through the weekend.

High temps will trend warmer for Sunday and Monday with the aforementioned warming winds ahead of our next system on Monday. A low-pressure system moves into the Upper Great Lakes Monday dragging a cold front through our region and bringing the chance for showers and possible thunderstorms as well. SPC has highlighted our area in their day 4 severe weather outlook with a 15% chance of severe weather.
